ABOUT ME
I'm Jess! I'm a recovering Air Force Brat who spent their childhood criss-crossing the United States. Stories were my most constant companions. I read and absorbed anything and everything I could get my grubby little hands on. And I wrote. I wrote what would now be considered fan fiction of the Land Before Time. To this day, my mother insists that it's better than the movies that were churned out after the first one. I have three "novels" that will probably never see the light of day but hey, practice makes perfect.
On our many moves and trips, I rode horses, strolled down the National Mall in DC, seen the Grand Canyon, peered out the glass floor of the Space Needle, waded in both Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, straddled three states at once, seen Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, drove the curves of Turnagin Arm in Alaska, and practically lived in Powells Independent Bookstore.
I received a B.A. in Pre-Colonial Women's History at Colorado State University and went onto receive an M.A. in Publishing Graduate Program at Portland State University.

I currently live in Salem, OR with my dog Bean where I write stories, have glasses of wine with friends and plan Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns.
